Alert! CAAC suspends 4 flights to China including 2 to Guangzhou

On November 17, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following four flights:

  • Lufthansa flight LH720 from Frankfurt to Shenyang
  • Scoot flight TR138 from Singapore to Tianjin
  • Oman Air flight WY851 from Muscat to Guangzhou
  • Emirates flight EK362 from Dubai to Guangzhou

On November 3, 5 passengers on flight LH720 and 7 passengers on flight TR138 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, LH720 and TR138 got suspended for two weeks starting respectively November 22 and December 6.

On November 5, 5 passengers on flight WY851 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, WY851 got suspended for two weeks starting November 22.

On November 6, 11 passengers on flight EK362 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, EK362 got suspended for four weeks starting December 20.
