Towering 632-metres over the city, the Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world.

While exterior construction is complete, crews are still working inside to fit out restaurants, shops, office spaces and the upcoming “luxurious” J Hotel.

For now, here’s everything you can do in China’s tallest tower.

While Dubai’s Burj Khalifa holds the title of being the world’s tallest skyscraper, the Shanghai Tower actually boasts a higher observation platform (561.25 metres compared to the Burj’s 555.7).

At ¥180 for a ticket to the top, the price is in line with other observation decks across the city, but believe us when we tell you the view is much better.
