Shanghai reported two confirmed local COVID-19 cases and three asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, the city’s government announced earlier Thursday.
They are close contacts or sub-close contacts of an imported asymptomatic case detected on January 11.
One area has been converted to a medium risk area: a milk tea shop at 228 Yuyuan Road in Jing’an District.
A search of Dianping.com shows the shop called “China Fresh Tea” is about 200 meters from No. 1 exit to Jing’an Temple station on subway lines 2 and 7.
