After almost 3 months of being available to Android users on Google Play, the E-Houwiya application is now available to Apple users for download on the Apple AppStore.

Here is the process to obtain a Mobile-ID:
- Download and install the E-Houwiya app directly from the Apple AppStore link above.
- Launch the E-Houwiya application on your phone then request to obtain your Mobile-ID
- Make an appointment for the virtual confirmation interview on the link sent to your email
- Attend the virtual interview on the chosen date and time and make sure you have your Tunisian national identity card or your Tunisian passport handy ( the digital ID received by email and the telephone number indicated at your request will also be requested during the interview and the interview time corresponds to the local time in your country of residence and not in Tunisia)
- Access the citizen portal https://e-bawaba.tn and the services offered such as:
- access to civil status documents (at the moment limited to birth certificates)
- creation of an official email for administrative communication with e-bawaba.tn.
- creation of your e-wallet associated with e-Houwiya: the e-wallet is valid for 5 years and can be used for any electronic payments with Tunisian Dinar. The usage is limited within Tunisia.
- viewing details regarding assets, official documents such as your driver’s license and vehicle registration certificate
- activation of notification (currently limited to alerts regarding expiry date of the driver’s license and traffic violations/fines)
- Simplified registration of mobile devices on sajalni.tn
