Virgin Atlantic is set to discontinue its flights to China from UK as the summer of 2024 draws to a close, attributing this decision to the “substantial hurdles and complexities” arising from the inability to traverse Russian airspace.
The last Virgin Atlantic journey from London Heathrow Airport to Shanghai Pudong International Airport is scheduled to embark on October 25, with the return voyage slated for the following day.
