Macau travelers subject to “7+7” quarantine in Zhuhai

On June 19, the Zhuhai New Coronary Virus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters issued a notice on the adjustment of health management measures for travelers from Macau S.A.R.

Those entering from Macau starting June 15 (inclusive) should report to the community, unit, and hotel where they are located as soon as possible to:

  • undergo a 7-day full quarantine (not permitted to go out) followed by 7-day health monitoring (cannot not go out unless necessary).
  • not go to public places or take public transportation.
  • carry out nucleic acid testing on the 1st, 3rd, 7th, and 14th day.

Entry personnel from Macau’s red and yellow code areas will be subject to 7-day centralized isolation (one nucleic acid test per day) + 7-day home isolation (one cannot go out, and one nucleic acid test will be carried out on the 10th and 14th days).

All units and individuals must strictly abide by the above epidemic prevention policies, and those who violate the regulations and cause the spread of the epidemic will be investigated for relevant legal responsibilities.
