Guangzhou-based China Southern will begin operating flights between Guangzhou-Jakarta and Dalian-Tokyo later this month, according to a Friday statement from the company.
Starting from October 26th, there will be two weekly round-trip Guangzhou-Jakarta and Dalian-Tokyo (Narita) flight services resuming operation, according to the statement from the company.
China Southern Airlines recently announced that it will be adding several new international routes from its hub in Guangzhou, China. The airline will begin operating flights to Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Manila, Philippines; Bangkok, Thailand; and Phnom Penh, Cambodia later this year.
Starting October 27th, there will be an increased number of flights linking Guangzhou and Dubai- with three round-trips per week. Additionally, the flight to Manila will become at least once a week.
Starting from October 24th and 18th respectively, China Southern Airlines will be increasing the number of weekly flights between Guangzhou and Bangkok, as well as Phnom Penh, to at least once a week.
This will bring the total amount of international flights operated by the airline up to 86 per week.
China Southern is one of the largest airlines in the world, operating 71 international round-trip flights per week.
