The operator of Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, Northern Capital Gateway, announced on Saturday that China Eastern Airlines has increased its list of flights to China from Russia by beginning to operate flights between St. Petersburg and Shanghai.
The airline will fly Airbus A330-300 aircraft from St. Petersburg to Shanghai three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, according to the announcement, which also announced the beginning of a direct trip to Shanghai for the first time since 2019.
