Hainan Airlines is poised to restart its list of flights to China from UK by inaugurating a service connecting Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) with Edinburgh Airport (EDI).
As per the announcement from the Scottish airport, this route will operate bi-weekly, embracing a seasonal schedule from June 26 to Oct. 8. Notably, this route has been in abeyance since October 2023.
Scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, the flights will establish the sole nonstop link between Scotland and China.
On June 21, Hainan is also set to reinstate service between Shenzhen and Brussels Airport, further extending its existing flight operations from PEK to Brussels.
