Juneyao Airlines is gearing up its list of flights to China from Thailand by starting daily flights between Shanghai and Chiang Mai starting from January 20, 2024.
This move puts Juneyao Air in direct competition with China Eastern Airlines and Spring Airlines, both operating on the same route.
The strategic decision aligns with the anticipated surge in air traffic following the implementation of visa-exempt travel between China and Thailand.
Notably, Juneyao Air has also announced an expansion of daily flights on Nanjing and Phuket from January 18 to March 25.
