There is a question that everyone has been asking me on either Telegram or a DM on Twitter so I decided to address this in a post and this question is: “Can you I fly to China from Hong Kong after completing the 3 days Hotel Quarantine?”
As we announced here, Hong Kong S.A.R Chief Executive John Lee announced in a press conference that the quarantine period of inbound travelers from Overseas and Taiwan will be 3+4. After completing the 3 days hotel quarantine, travelers will be given a “yellow health code” during the 4 days home health monitoring which would allow them to travel, with public transportation, to work or shopping malls.
Following that announcement, there have been opposite opinions on whether travelers can leave Hong Kong and enter China either via flight orafter completing the mandatory 3 days hotel quarantine. After checking with the Hong Kong S.A.R department of Health, it was confirmed that travelers are allowed to leave Hong Kong to continue their journey after completing the 3 days mandatory hotel quarantine.
