Flights to China from UAE: Emirates will resume operations to…

Emirates has announced that it will increase its flights to China from UAE by resuming its flights to Shanghai and Beijing in time for the Lunar New Year, which kicks off on Saturday in China.

This decision comes as China eases entry restrictions due to COVID-19 and reopens the country’s borders to international travelers.

The Shanghai service returns on Friday with service twice a week on an Airbus A380, increasing to a daily service from March 1. It will leave from Dubai to Shanghai non-stop, making a brief stopover in Bangkok before returning to Dubai.

The service will increase to four weekly flights on a three-class Boeing 777-300ER from February 2, with a non-stop flight to Shanghai and a service via Bangkok to return to Dubai.

It will be a non-stop daily service as of March 1st.

Starting February 1st, services between Dubai and Guangzhou on the A380 will move to non-stop daily services. At present, Emirates flies non-stop to Guangzhou and returns by Bangkok four times a week.

A daily nonstop service between Beijing and Dubai on a three-class Boeing 777-300ER will begin on 15 March.

This brings the airline’s services in China, which have been in operation for nearly twenty years, to 21 weekly flights.
