On March 1, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced the suspension of two international flights for two weeks starting March 8:
- China Southern’s Flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha
- Air Algerie’s Flight AH3060 from Algiers to Chengdu
On February 18, five passengers on flight CZ 6044 and five passengers on flight AH3060 tested positive for COVID-19.
Flights entering the country before March 8 on the above routes can continue and the quota for the above flights will not be used for other routes.
If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during the period before March 8, it will result in an increase in suspension time.
