The CAAC suspends six flights to China

On July 20 and 21, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced suspension against the following six international flights:

  • Air China Flight CA942 from Dubai to Beijing
  • Uzbekistan Airways Flight HY501 from Tashkent to Xi’an
  • Air China Flight CA910 from Moscow to Nanjing
  • Air China Flight CA906 from Yangon to Zhengzhou
  • China Eastern Airlines flight MU2032 from Yangon to Kunming
  • China Southern flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha

On July 15, five passengers on flight CA942 and twelve passengers on flight HY501 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA942 got suspended for two weeks starting July 20 and HY501 got suspended for four weeks starting July 21.

On July 10, seven passengers on flight CA910 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As a result, the flight will continue its suspension from August 2 for two more weeks.

On July 11, nine passengers on flight CA906 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As a result, the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting July 26.

On July 7, six passengers on flight MU2032 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As a result, the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting July 26 and the frequency of flights will be reduced from twice a week to once a week.

On July 8, twelve passengers on flight CZ6044 tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As a result, the flight will be suspended for four weeks starting August 2.
