The CAAC suspends 2 flights to Chengdu

On August 18, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced penalties against the following two international flights:

  • Air China flight CA432 from Frankfurt to Chengdu
  • Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8392 from Cairo to Chengdu

On August 6, five passengers on flight CA432 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Since CA432 is an award flight of CA936 (Frankfurt to Shanghai), the CAAC canceled CA432 and suspended CA936 for two weeks starting August 23.

On August 7, six passengers on flight 3U8392 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, 3U8392 got suspended for two weeks starting August 23.
