CAAC suspends 2 new flights to China

On August 18, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following two international flights:

  • Saudia flight SV884 from Riyadh to Guangzhou
  • Aeroflot flight SU208 from Moscow to Shanghai

On August 5, five passengers on flight SV884 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, SV884 got suspended for two weeks starting August 23.

On August 6, nine passengers on flight SU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, SU208 got suspended for two weeks starting August 30.
