Bummer! CAAC suspends 2 flights to Guangzhou and Tianjin

On September 18 and 22, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following two international flights:

  • Iraqi Airways flight IA473 from Baghdad to Guangzhou
  • Air France flight AF382 from Paris to Tianjin

On September 8, 5 passengers on flight IA473 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the flight got suspended for two weeks starting September 27.

On September 10, 7 passengers on flight AF382 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the flight got an extra suspension of two weeks starting October 11.
