On September 29, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following two international flights:
- KLM flight KL831 from Amsterdam to Hangzhou
- Kenya Airways flight KQ882 from Nairobi to Guangzhou
On September 17, five passengers on flight KL831 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
On September 18, seven passengers on flight KQ882 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, each of these flights got suspended for two weeks starting October 4.
