On October 20, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following five flights:
- KLM Flight KL857 from Amsterdam to Shanghai
- Air China Flight CA934 from Paris to Tianjin
On October 6, 7 passengers on flight KL857 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight got suspended an extra suspension of two weeks starting November 1.
On October 7, 5 passengers on flight CA934 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CA934 got an extra suspension of two weeks starting October 25.
