Bummer! Another 4 more flights suspended by the CAAC

Cancelled Flights

On December 27, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following four flights:

  • Air China flight CA912 from Stockholm to Xi’an
  • China Eastern flight MU588 from New York to Shanghai
  • China Southern flight CZ8140 from Islamabad to Wuhan
  • XiamenAir flight MF830 from Los Angeles to Xiamen

On December 13, 10 passengers on flight CA912 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the frequency of CA912 will be reduced from twice a week (Mondays and Saturdays) to once a week (Saturdays) and the Saturday flight will be suspended for four weeks starting January 3, 2022.

On December 14, 5 passengers on flight MU588, 6 passengers on flight CZ8140 and 5 passengers on flight MF830 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, each of the three flights above got suspended for two weeks starting January 3, 2022.
