The CAAC suspends 3 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On February 4, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following THREE flights:

  • Singapore Airlines flight SQ814 from Singapore to Chongqing
  • Mahan Air flight W581 from Tehran to Guangzhou
  • Saudia flight SV884 from Riyadh to Guangzhou

On January 24, 7 passengers on flight SQ814, and 5 passengers on flight W581 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, SQ814 and W581 were each suspended for two weeks starting February 14.

On January 27, 5 passengers on flight SV884 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, SV884 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 28.
