On February 28, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TWO flights:
- Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou
- Korean Air flight KE865 from Seoul to Guangzhou
On February 16, 6 passengers on flight TK72 and 5 passengers on flight KE865 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- TK72 was suspended for two weeks starting April 18.
- KE865 was suspended for two weeks starting March 7 and the award flight KE869 (Seoul to Dalian) was canceled.
