On March 2, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:
- Kenya Airways flight KQ882 from Nairobi to Guangzhou
- Austrian Airlines flight OS75 from Vienna to Shanghai
- Lao Airlines flight QV815 from Vientiane to Kunming
- Malaysia Airlines flight MH376 from Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou
- Singapore Airlines flight SQ830 from Singapore to Shanghai
On February 19, 7 passengers on flight KQ882 and 5 passengers on flight OS75 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- KQ882 was suspended for two weeks starting March 14.
- OS75 was suspended for two weeks starting March 7.
On February 20, 5 passengers on flight QV815 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, QV815 was suspended for two weeks, starting March 7.
On February 21, 5 passengers on flight MH376 and 7 passengers on flight SQ830 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- MH376 was suspended for two weeks starting March 14 and the award flight MH390 (Kuala Lumpur to Xiamen) was canceled.
- SQ830 was suspended for two weeks starting March 21.
