On March 15, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:
- Asiana Airlines flight OZ323 from Seoul to Chengdu
- Air Seoul flight RS831 from Seoul to Yantai
- Lao Airlines flight QV815 from Vientiane to Kunming
- Spring Airlines flight 9C8570 from Seoul to Shanghai
- China Southern flight CZ3056 from Yangon to Guangzhou
On March 3, 6 passengers on flight OZ323 and 8 passengers on flight RS831 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- Because OZ323 is an award flight of OZ303 (from Seoul to Changchun), the CAAC decided to cancel OZ323 and suspend OZ303 for two weeks starting Apr 25.
- RS831 was suspended for two weeks starting Apr 4.
On March 6, 5 passengers on flight QV815 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, QV815 was suspended for two weeks starting March 21.
On March 7, 6 passengers on flight 9C8570 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, 9C8570 was suspended for two weeks starting April 4.
On March 12, 12 passengers on flight CZ3056 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CZ3056 was suspended for four weeks starting March 28.
