Yikes! The CAAC suspends yet another 3 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On April 7, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following THREE flights:

  • Air China flight CA980 from Bangkok to Beijing
  • Air China flight CA404 from Singapore to Chengdu
  • China Southern flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha

On March 23, 9 passengers on flight CA980, and 5 passengers on flight CA404 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CA980 was suspended for two weeks starting April 11.
  • CA404 was suspended for two weeks starting April 18.

On March 24, 11 passengers on flight CZ6044 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ6044 was suspended for four weeks starting May 2.
