On April 7, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following THREE flights:
- Air China flight CA980 from Bangkok to Beijing
- Air China flight CA404 from Singapore to Chengdu
- China Southern flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha
On March 23, 9 passengers on flight CA980, and 5 passengers on flight CA404 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- CA980 was suspended for two weeks starting April 11.
- CA404 was suspended for two weeks starting April 18.
On March 24, 11 passengers on flight CZ6044 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CZ6044 was suspended for four weeks starting May 2.
