On May 19, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following EIGHT flights:
- China Southern flight CZ350 from Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou
- Kenya Airways flight KQ880 from Nairobi to Guangzhou
- China Eastern flight MU208 from Toronto to Hangzhou
- Air China flight CA998 from Vancouver to Zhengzhou
- China Southern flight CZ308 from Amsterdam to Guangzhou
- Juneyao Airlines flight HO1608 from Helsinki to Hangzhou
- Air China flight CA988 from Los Angeles to Tianjin
- Malaysia Airlines flight MH376 from Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou
On May 6, 5 passengers on flight CZ350, and 8 passengers on flight CA998 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- CZ350 was suspended for two weeks starting May 23.
- CA998 was suspended for two weeks starting May 30.
On May 7, 5 passengers on flight KQ880, and 8 passengers on flight CZ308 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- KQ880 was suspended for two weeks starting May 23.
- CZ308 was suspended for two weeks starting May 30.
On May 8, 7 passengers on flight MU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, MU208 was suspended for two weeks starting May 23.
On May 9, 5 passengers on flight HO1608, 5 passengers on flight CA988, and 16 passengers on flight MH376 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- HO1608 was suspended for two weeks starting May 30.
- CA988 was suspended for two weeks starting June 6.
- MH376 was suspended for four weeks starting June 6.
