Yikes! The CAAC suspends 6 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On June 1, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following SIX flights:

  • LOT Polish Airlines flight LO93 from Warsaw to Tianjin.
  • Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8502 from Vancouver to Chengdu.
  • Air China flight CA868 from Johannesburg to Shenzhen.
  • Oman Air flight WY851 from Muscat to Guangzhou.
  • XiamenAir flight MF830 from Los Angeles to Xiamen.
  • China Southern flight CZ328 from Los Angeles to Guangzhou.

On May 19, 9 passengers on flight LO93, 6 passengers on flight 3U8502, and 5 passengers on flight CA868 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, LO93, 3U8502, and CA868 was suspended for two weeks each starting June 6.

On May 20, 5 passengers on flight WY851, and 5 passengers on flight MF830 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, WY851, and MF830 was suspended for two weeks each starting June 6.

On May 24, 10 passengers on flight CZ328 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ328 was suspended for four weeks starting June 13.
