Here we go again! The CAAC suspends 4 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On June 9, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FOUR flights:

  • China Eastern flight MU570 from Paris to Taiyuan.
  • Air China flight CA404 from Singapore to Chengdu.
  • Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8502 from Vancouver to Chengdu.
  • Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou

On May 30, 7 passengers on flight MU570 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MU570 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.

On June 1, 5 passengers on flight CA404, and 9 passengers on flight TK72 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CA404 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.
  • TK72 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.

On June 2, 10 passengers on flight 3U8502 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, 3U8502 was suspended for four weeks starting June 20.
