Yet Again! The CAAC suspends 9 more flights to China

On June 23, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following NINE flights:

  • China Eastern flight MU208 from Toronto to Hangzhou
  • Hainan Airlines flight HU492 from Brussels to Xi’an
  • China Southern flight CZ3070 from Ho Chi Minh City to Guangzhou
  • Juneyao Airways flight H01608 from Helsinki to Hangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ8140 from Islamabad to Wuhan
  • China Eastern flight MU562 from Sydney to Kunming
  • China Southern flight CZ326 from Sydney to Guangzhou
  • Condor flight DE2366 from Frankfurt to Jinan
  • Korean Air flight KE831 from Seoul to Shenyang

On June 12, 9 passengers on flight MU208, 5 passengers on flight HU492, and 11 passengers on flight CZ3070 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • MU208 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.
  • HU492 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27 and the flight frequency reduced from twice a week to once a week.
  • CZ3070 was suspended for four weeks starting July 4.

On June 13, 9 passengers on flight HO1608 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, HO1608 was suspended for two weeks starting July 4.

On June 14, 9 passengers on flight CZ8140 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ8140 was suspended for two weeks starting July 4.

On June 15, 10 passengers on flight CZ326 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ326 was suspended for four weeks starting July 11.

On June 16, 25 passengers on flight DE2366 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, DE2366 was suspended for four weeks starting July 4.

On June 17, 11 passengers on flight KE831 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, KE831 was suspended for four weeks starting July 4.
