The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:
- Air China flight CA438 from Kathmandu to Chengdu.
- China Southern flight CZ8140 from Islamabad to Wuhan.
- Aeroflot flight SU208 from Moscow to Shanghai.
- Air Seoul flight RS821 from Seoul to Qingdao.
- Air Canada flight AC27 from Toronto to Shanghai.
On August 7, 14 passengers on flight CA438, and 13 passengers on flight SU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:
- CA438 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22 (percentage of infected passengers account for 8% of total passengers).
- SU208 was suspended for one week starting October 3 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% of total passengers).
On August 8, 8 passengers on flight RS821, and 11 passengers on flight AC27 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:
- RS821 was suspended for one week starting August 29 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% of total passengers).
- AC27 (Sunday flight) was suspended for one week starting August 29 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% of total passengers).
On August 9, 5 passengers on flight CZ8140 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CZ8140 was suspended for one starting August 29 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% of total passengers).
