Here wo go again! The CAAC suspends yet another 4 flights to China

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FOUR flights:

  • Air China flight CA8372 from Moscow to Shenzhen.
  • China Southern flight CZ3070 from Ho Chi Minh City to Guangzhou.
  • China Southern flight CZ8140 from Islamabad to Wuhan.
  • Spring Airlines Japan flight IJ213 from Tokyo to Harbin.

On August 19, 28 passengers on flight CA8372 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, CA8372 was suspended for two weeks starting September 26 (percentage of infected passengers account for 8% or more of total passengers).

On August 21, 8 passengers on flight CZ3070, and 5 passengers on flight IJ213 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • CZ3070 was suspended for one week starting September 5 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).
  • IJ213 was suspended for one week starting September 19 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).

On August 23, 6 passengers on flight CZ8140 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, CZ8140 was suspended for one week starting September 12 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).
