Oh No! The CAAC suspends yet another 4 flights to China

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FOUR flights:

  • Air China flight CA946 from Karachi to Zhengzhou.
  • China Southern flight CZ3056 from Yangon to Guangzhou.
  • China Southern flight CZ3040 from Singapore to Guangzhou.
  • LOT Polish Airlines flight LO93 from Warsaw to Tianjin.

On August 31, 7 passengers on flight CA946 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, CA946 was suspended for one week starting September 19 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).

On September 3, 9 passengers on flight CZ3056 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, CZ3056 was suspended for two weeks starting September 19 (percentage of infected passengers account for 8% or more of total passengers).

On September 6, 9 passengers on flight CZ3040 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, CZ3040 was suspended for one week starting September 26 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).

On September 8, 25 passengers on flight LO93 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, LO93 was suspended for two weeks starting September 26 (percentage of infected passengers account for 8% or more of total passengers).
