On July 1, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced penalties for the following six international flights:
- China Southern’s Flight CZ8314
- From Phnom Penh to Guangzhou
- Oman Air’s Flight WY851
- From Muscat to Guangzhou
- Saudi Arabian Airlines’ Flight SV884
- From Riyadh to Guangzhou
- JC Airlines’ Flight QD738
- From Phnom Penh to Chengdu
- Air Algerie’s Flight AH3060
- From Algiers to Chengdu
- KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ Flight KL891
- From Amsterdam to Chengdu
On June 21, nine passengers on flight CZ8314 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting July 12.
On June 18, five passengers on flight WY851 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting July 5.
On June 17, six passengers on flight SV884 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting July 5.
On June 19, ten passengers on flight QD738 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight will be suspended for four weeks starting July 5 and the reward flights QD696 and QD697 are canceled.
On June 17, five passengers on flight AH3060 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight will be operating at a load factor of no more than 40% for 4 weeks starting July 5.
On June 20, six passengers on flight KL891 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight will be suspended for two weeks starting July 12.
Since this flight is an award flight of KL857 (Amsterdam to Shanghai), KL981/982 flights will be canceled and restrict KL857 (Amsterdam to Shanghai) to operate at a load factor of no more than 40% for 4 weeks starting July 5.
