This page explains the testing requirements to enter China as a traveler coming from overseas starting April 29, 2023.
01 Pre-flight test
All passengers flying to China are required to take nucleic acid test (PCR) or Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for COVID-19 within 48 hours before boarding, and can only travel to China when your test result is negative or after it turns positive to negative.
02 Chinese Customs Health Declaration
Passengers are obliged to report the negative result to the Chinese customs by filling out the health declaration form on:
- Chinese Customs WeChat Mini-Program (scan QR code below) or
- Chinese Customs APP or
- Website: https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn
Note: The form is only valid for 24 hours starting from being completed.
