On September 15, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following two international flights:
- Uzbekistan Airways flight HY501 from Tashkent to Taiyuan
- EgyptAir flight MS958 from Cairo to Guangzhou
On September 2, 5 passengers on flight HY501 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight got an extra suspension of two weeks starting September 27.
On September 3, 6 passengers on flight MS958 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight got suspended for two weeks starting September 20.
