On September 24 and September 26, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following two international flights to Guangzhou:
- Emirates flight EK362 from Dubai
- Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul
On September 11, six passengers on flight EK362 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight got suspended for two weeks starting September 27.
On September 15, five passengers on flight TK72 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the flight got suspended for two weeks starting October 4.
