Alert! CAAC suspends 5 flights to China from October 18

On October 15, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following five flights:

  • Air China Flight CA780 from Frankfurt to Changchun
  • Shandong Airlines Flight SC4088 from Seoul to Qingdao
  • KLM Flight KL857 from Amsterdam to Shanghai
  • El Al Flight LY065 from Tel Aviv to Shanghai
  • Condor Flight DE8442 from Frankfurt to Xi’an

On October 1, 6 passengers on flight CA780 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the flight got suspended for two weeks starting October 18.

On October 1, 5 passengers on flight SC4088 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As SC4708 is an award flight of SC4088, the flight SC4088 got suspended for two weeks starting October 18 and the flight award SC4708 got canceled.

On September 29, 8 passengers on flight KL857 and 6 passengers on flight LY065 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

On October 3, 5 passengers on flight DE8442 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, KL857, LY065, and DE8442 got suspended for two weeks starting October 18.
