On January 4, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TEN flights:
- China Southern flight CZ328 from Los Angeles to Guangzhou
- China Eastern flight MU588 New York to Shanghai
- Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou
- LOT Polish Airlines flight LO93 from Warsaw to Tianjin
- Air Algerie flight AH3060 from Algiers to Chengdu
- Neos flight NO946 from Milan to Tianjin
- American Airlines flight AA127 from Dallas to Shanghai
- United Airlines flight UA857 from San Francisco to Shanghai
- Lao Airlines flight QV815 from Vientiane to Kunming
- Air Canada flight AC25 from Vancouver to Shanghai
On December 21, 5 passengers on flight CZ328 and 9 passenger on flight MU588 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CZ328 and MU588 were suspended for two weeks starting respectively January 10, 2022 and Jan 17, 2022.
On December 22, 7 passengers on flight TK72 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, TK72 was suspended for two weeks starting January 17, 2022.
On December 23, 5 passengers on flight LO93 and 5 passengers on flight AH3060 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, AH3060 and LO93 were suspended for two weeks starting respectively January 10 and January 17, 2022.
On December 24, 7 passengers on flight NO946 and 5 passengers on flight AA127 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, NO946 and AA127 were suspended for two weeks starting January 10, 2022.
On December 26, 7 passengers on flight UA857 and 6 passengers on flight QV815 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, UA857 and QV815 were suspended for two weeks starting respectively January 10 and January 24, 2022.
On December 25, 17 passengers on flight AC25 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, the AC25 flight of Saturday is suspended for two weeks starting January 10, 2022 while the AC25 flight of Wednesday is suspended for four weeks starting January 17, 2022
