Astonishing! CAAC suspends 14 flights to China

On January 7 and 8, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FOURTEEN flights:

  • China Southern flight CZ328 from Los Angeles to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ8140 from Islamabad to Wuhan
  • XiamenAir flight MF830 from Los Angeles to Xiamen
  • Air China flight CA770 from Los Angeles to Shenzhen
  • Polish Airlines LO93 from Warsaw to Tianjin
  • United Airlines flight UA857 from San Francisco to Shanghai
  • Iberia flight IB2821 from Madrid to Shanghai
  • Philippines Airlines flight PR314 from Manila to Tianjin
  • Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8502 from Vancouver to Chengdu
  • Air China flight CA934 from Paris to Tianjin
  • China Southern flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha
  • XiamenAir flight MF812 from Amsterdam to Xiamen
  • China Eastern flight MU588 from New York to Shanghai
  • China Southern flight CZ348 from Paris to Guangzhou

Flight CZ328 had 16 passengers on December 28 and 14 passengers on January 4 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ328 was suspended for 8 weeks starting January 31.

Flight CZ8140 had 10 passengers on December 28 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ8140 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 17.

Flight MF830 had 7 passengers on December 28 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MF830 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight CA770 had 15 passengers on December 29 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA770 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 24.

Flight LO93 had 5 passengers on December 30 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, LO93 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 31.

Flight UA857 had 6 passengers on December 30 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, UA857 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight IB2821 had 10 passengers on January 1 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, IB2821 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 17.

Flight PR314 had 10 passengers on January 5 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, PR314 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 24.

Flight 3U8502 had 6 passengers on December 30 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, 3U8502 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight CA934 had 18 passengers on December 30 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA934 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 24.

Flight CZ6044 had 8 passengers on December 30 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ6044 was suspended for 2 weeks starting February 7.

Flight MU588 had 8 passengers on December 30 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MU588 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight CZ348 had 11 passengers on December 31 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ348 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 17.
