Recently, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following SEVENTEEN flights:

  • China Eastern flight MU712 from Sydney to Hangzhou
  • Air China flight CA722 from Minsk to Hohhot
  • Air China flight CA912 from Stockholm to Beijing
  • China Southern flight CZ308 from Amsterdam to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ312 from Toronto to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ328 from Los Angeles to Guangzhou
  • EgyptAir flight MS953 from Cairo to Hangzhou
  • Lufthansa flight LH720 from Frankfurt to Shenyang
  • Scandinavian Airlines SK997 from Copenhagen to Shanghai
  • KLM flight KL831 from Amsterdam to Hangzhou
  • Delta Airlines DL287 from Seattle to Shanghai
  • Kenya Airways KQ882 from Nairobi to Guangzhou
  • United Airlines flight UA857 from San Francisco to Shanghai
  • Delta Airlines DL283 from Detroit to Shanghai
  • American Airlines AA127 from Dallas to Shanghai
  • Neos flight NO946 from Milan to Tianjin

Flight MU712 had 7 passengers on December 31 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Because MU712 was a reward flight of MU562 (from Sydney to Shanghai), the flights MU711/MU712 got canceled and the flights MU561/562 were suspended for 8 weeks starting January 17.

Flight CA722 had 5 passengers on January 1 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA722 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 24.

Flight CA912 had 5 passengers on January 1 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA912 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 31.

Flight CZ308 had 5 passengers on January 1 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ308 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 24.

Flight CZ312 had 8 passengers on January 2 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ312 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 24.

Flight CZ328 had 9 passengers on January 2 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ328 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight MS953 had 5 passengers on December 29 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MS953 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight LH720 had 5 passengers on December 29 and 11 passengers on January 5 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, LH720 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17 followed by 4 weeks starting January 31.

Flight SK997 had 5 passengers on December 29 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, SK997 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight KL831 had 5 passengers on December 31 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, KL831 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight DL287 had 6 passengers on January 1 and 11 passengers on January 6 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the Thursday flight of DL287 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17 and the Tuesday flight was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 24.

Flight KQ882 had 5 passengers on January 1 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, KQ882 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight UA857 had 6 passengers on January 1 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, UA857 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight DL283 had 5 passengers on January 2 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, DL283 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 17.

Flight AA127 had 10 passengers on December 31 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, AA127 was suspended for 4 weeks starting January 24.

Flight NO946 had 7 passengers on December 31 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, NO946 was suspended for 2 weeks starting January 24.
