The CAAC suspends 6 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On February 14, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following SIX flights:

  • Finnair flight AY87 from Helsinki to Shanghai
  • Air Canada flight AC27 from Toronto to Shanghai
  • Austrian Airlines flight OS75 from Vienna to Shanghai
  • Emirates flight EK362 from Dubai to Guangzhou
  • Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou
  • Air China flight CA910 from Moscow to Qingdao

On February 4, 6 passengers on flight AY87 and 6 passengers on flight AC27 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, AY87 and AC27 were suspended for two weeks each, starting February 21.

On February 5, 7 passengers on flight OS75 and 6 passengers on flight EK362 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • OS75 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 21.
  • EK362 got suspended for 2 weeks starting March 7.

On February 9, 14 passengers on flight TK72 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, TK72 got suspended for 4 weeks starting March 21.

On February 12, 14 passengers on flight CA910 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA910 got suspended for 4 weeks starting February 28.
