The CAAC suspends 2 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On February 15, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TWO flights:

  • Mahan Air flight W581 from Tehran to Guangzhou
  • Etihad Airways flight EY862 from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai

On February 7, 9 passengers on flight W581 and 8 passengers on flight EY862 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • W581 got suspended for 2 weeks starting March 28.
  • EY862 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 28.
