On April 24, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following SIX flights:
- Juneyao Airlines flight HO1334 from Osaka to Dalian.
- China Eastern flight MU220 from Frankfurt to Chengdu.
- Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8502 from Vancouver to Chengdu.
- China Eastern flight MU568 from Singapore to Nancheng.
- Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL880 from Columbo to Guangzhou.
- Saudia flight SV884 from Riyadh to Guangzhou.
On April 12, 5 passengers on flight HO1334 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, HO1334 was suspended for two weeks starting May 2.
On April 13, 7 passengers on flight MU220, and 14 passengers on flight UL880 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- MU220 was suspended for two weeks starting May 2.
- UL880 was suspended for four weeks starting May 2.
On April 14, 5 passengers on flight 3U8502, 5 passengers on flight MU568, and 6 passengers on flight SV884 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result:
- 3U8502 and MU568 were suspended for two weeks each starting May 2.
- SV884 was suspended for two weeks starting May 9.
