Yet Again! The CAAC suspends 11 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On June 17 & 19, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following ELEVEN flights:

  • China Southern flight CZ326 from Sydney to Guangzhou
  • China Eastern flight MU562 from Sydney to Kunming
  • EgyptAir flight MS953 from Cairo to Hangzhou
  • Air China flight CA934 from Paris to Tianjin
  • Air France flight AF382 from Paris to Tianjin
  • Neos flight NO946 from Milan to Tianjin
  • Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou
  • Beijing Capital Airlines flight JD430 from Lisbon to Xi’an
  • Emirates flight EK362 from Dubai to Guangzhou
  • KLM flight KL831 from Amsterdam to Hangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ328 from Los Angeles to Guangzhou

On June 8, 5 passengers on flight CZ326, 5 passengers on flight MU562, 5 passengers on flight MS953, and 7 passengers on flight TK72 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CZ324 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.
  • MU562 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.
  • MS953 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.
  • TK72 was suspended for two weeks starting July 4.

On June 9, 8 passengers on flight CA934 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA934 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.

On June 10, 5 passengers on flight AF382, 9 passengers on flight NO946, and 10 passengers on flight KL831 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • AF382 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.
  • NO946 was suspended for two weeks starting June 27.
  • KL831 was suspended for four weeks starting June 27.

On June 11, 12 passengers on flight EK362 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, EK362 was suspended for four weeks starting July 4.

On June 12, 10 passengers on flight JD430, and 16 passengers on flight CZ328 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • JD430 was suspended for four weeks starting June 27.
  • CZ328 was suspended for four weeks starting July 25.
