Oh Boy! The CAAC suspends 5 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:

  • China Eastern flight MU524 from Tokyo to Kunming
  • China Southern flight CZ348 from Paris to Guangzhou
  • Juneyao Airlines flight HO1628 from Singapore to Zhengzhou
  • Air Astana flight KC285 from Almaty to Chengdu
  • Aeroflot flight SU208 from Moscow to Shanghai

On July 22, 5 passengers on flight MU524, 8 passengers on flight CZ328, and 8 passengers on flight KC285 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • MU524 was suspended for two weeks starting August 8.
  • CZ328 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.
  • KC285 (Friday flight) was suspended for two weeks starting August 8.

On July 24, 16 passengers on flight SU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA988 was suspended for four weeks starting August 8.

On July 25, 12 passengers on flight HO1628 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, HO1628 was suspended for four weeks starting August 15.
