Oh No! Another 4 flights to China suspended by the CAAC

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following four flights:

  • China Eastern flight MU588 from New York to Fuzhou.
  • China Eastern flight MU2036 from Dhaka to Kunming.
  • Air France flight AF198 from Paris to Shanghai.
  • Scoot flight TR180 from Singapore to Nanjing.

On October 3, 13 passengers on flight MU2036 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, MU2036 was suspended for one week starting October 24.

On October 4, 12 passengers on flight MU588, and 7 passengers on flight AF198 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • MU588 (Monday flight) was suspended for one week starting October 24.
  • AF198 was suspended for one week starting October 24.

On October 6, 8 passengers on flight TR180 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, TR180 (Thursday flight) was suspended for one week starting October 24.
