The CAAC suspends 3 flights to China

On August 13, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced suspension against the following three international flights:

  • Air China flight CA934 from Paris to Tianjin
  • Myanmar Airways International flight 8M711 from Yangon to Guangzhou
  • Kenya Airways flight KQ882 from Nairobi to Guangzhou

On July 29, five passengers on flight CA934 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA934 got suspended for two weeks starting August 16.

On August 3, eight passengers on flight 8M711 and six passengers on flight KQ882 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, 8M711 and KQ 882 got suspended for two weeks starting August 23 and August 30 respectively.
