Yikes! The CAAC suspends 5 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On June 10, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:

  • XiamenAir flight MF830 from Los Angeles to Xiamen.
  • China Eastern flight MU2574 from Vientiane to Kunming
  • Thai Vietjet Air flight VZ3560 from Bangkok to Kunming
  • Japan Airlines flight JL087 from Tokyo to Guangzhou
  • Emirates flight EK362 from Dubai to Guangzhou

On May 31, 5 passengers on flight MF830 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MF830 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.

On June 2, 5 passengers on flight VZ3560 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, VZ3560 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.

On June 3, 5 passengers on flight MU2574, and 6 passengers on flight JL087 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • MU2574 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.
  • JL087 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.

On June 4, 6 passengers on flight EK362 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, EK362 was suspended for two weeks starting June 20.
